The Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Mobile Recycling Trailer is a free, roving service allowing residents to drop off unwanted clothing and small electrical items.
Mornington Community House is working with the Mornington Peninsula Shire to make it easier than ever for the community to divert more items from landfill, and work towards our zero-waste future.
We’re excited to be one of the trailer’s first stops for 2026!
The following items can be donated
• Clean and dry clothing, including hats, shoes, bags and towels (Please no pillows or doona covers)
• Small electrical items, including hair dryers, toasters, drills, mobile phones, tablets and laptops (Please no batteries, embedded or otherwise. Batteries and items with embedded batteries can be taken to the Mornington, Tyabb and Rye Resource Recovery Centres. Do not place batteries in your curbside rubbish or recycling bins)
