One Billion Stars marketing with information

  • What is project One Billion Stars?
It began as a mission to weave one million stars, inspired and in memory of Jill Meagher. Each star weaved aimed to build more resilient, connected and violence free communities.
  • From one million to One Billion Stars!
It is now a global star weaving movement known as One Billion Stars.
  • How does star weaving end violence?
Star weaving is a therapeutic, joyful and creative practice. It provides an opportunity to join important conversations around violence while creating something magical with our hands.
Each star woven is a reminder to us all that violence in our homes, streets and communities, is not acceptable. We all have a responsibility to end violence.
